mad child family

When we were at SPCA a couple of months back, I fell in love with a set of siblings. I wanted to take all of them home, but R was, understandably more rational at that point. sigh.

So we picked 'Lucky' and when we went into the office to adopt her, the SPCA staff pointed out that we had picked someone from the same family as the kitten adopted by a Princess from a neighboring country who had been in a week ago.

We had a good laugh about getting a proxy-royal and thought no more about it.

As 'Lucky' settled in - leaving a wake of destruction everywhere she went, we named her 'Train' - 'Train Crash' - an apt name for a mad child.

Yesterday, I received the SPCA bulletin and was amused to see a pic of said Princess from neighboring country, holding her kitten - Train's sister. What was completely freaky is this line:

Within several minutes...of playing with two of her favorites in the nursery area, the Princess chose a black three month old kitten to bring home with her...naming the kitten 'Rain'.
woah. what are the chances of that!
