blah

Just watched an episode of Outback Jack, albeit not for the content. I was particularly interested in this episode as the girls hit Perth, living at Burswood, picnic at King's Park, shopping on Hay and Murray Streets *sigh* Massive bout of homesickness. While these aren't brilliantly great, or exciting places, it is close to my heart because coz I had good times there. Mind you, all we would think about is how much better it prolly is in Melbourne/Sydney. I guess not even being in the general proximity of the bloody continent makes Perth look good. Feels like a new low.

She was here for less than a week and to say she rejuvinated my spirit would be an understatement. We spent hours walking around Beverly Hills and Hollywood, were there the night they had these awards, ran into this guy at the Beverly Center, bus'd it to Santa Monica and 3rd Street Promenade, had strange costume people talk to us in front of Mann's Chinese Theater, hit ourselves coz we got free tickets for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and we didn't take em, she had a stripper give her a lap dance and then a sales pitch on the wonders of a boob job, more drinking on thursday and ignoring the clock after 1am, getting to bed at 5:30am only to get 2 hours of sleep before hitting the train station, came up with strange games to remember people who came drinking, talking rubbish at 7:30am while waiting for the bus to take us to said train station, lack of coffee in the morning making the wait for train torture, spent the whole week looking forward to Valencia (Six Flags) and loved every minute of it, made the mistake of having hot coffee in the bus on the I-5, met some very strange people there who decided we were nice people to hang out with, we got stuck on a rollercoaster and demanded a free ride when it got fixed, screamed our lungs out as seen here on the Goliath, 255ft tall and coming down at 85mph, went on these amazing coasters and loved "X" and desperately want to do it again, waited too long in line for 1 fuckin ride that ruined what little of the day was left, refuse to associate ourselves with anything to do with 'The Riddler', bought nice clothes in Santa Monica, bought amazingly cheap and beautiful shoes (here) at Westminister Mall (heh $4.99), and then went back to buy one more equally brilliant pair (here), visited every Victoria Secrets we could find, ate Krispy Kremes, drank pitchers of Raspberry Margaritas, ate at a mexican cantina, realized person we were with was way too young thus making us feel way too er...mature, saw Costco in all its glory, shared a massive slice of pepperoni pizza at $1.99, went to South Coast Plaza, didn't see the fuss made about it, conned the 'Vera Wang' sales assistant into giving us a slice each of very expensive cake, enjoyed amazing slice of cake, ran back to Sears to buy more cheap shoes, spent 3 hours on the balcony in LA talking, had pretty amazing cheeseburger at "In&Out", met Gizmo and Dante, she was traumatized at the sight of these around Huntington beach, bitched about the parents, evaluated life and ourselves, enjoyed each other's company and the amazing bond we had, giggled at the times we would say the same thing together, read weird street signs and names to each other, went for a car wash, explored the MTA, saw cute boys on Main St., went to deperate measures for more alcohol on same night, resolved never to drink vodka + water + lime juice + sugar ever again, made new memories, confirmed tequila is off our list, dealt with an overflowing bathroom, laughed till we started crying, analyzed the need for guys to wear massive fake diamond studs, had all together an awesome time.

We didn't want it to end. *sigh*
